METRIC MONSTERS

Mad Science Measurement

It's Alive! But only if the measurements are precise. Welcome to the lab, where you must combine volatile ingredients to create the ultimate monster.

In this Year 3 Measurement game, you'll be adding and subtracting Lengths (m/cm), Mass (kg/g), and Volume (l/ml). One wrong calculation and... KABOOM!

๐Ÿงช LAB NOTES

  • ๐Ÿ“
LENGTH "The arm needs to be 50cm longer." Add the lengths together.
    Remember: 100cm = 1m
  • โš–๏ธ
MASS "Add 200g of Brain Slime." Calculate the total weight.
    Remember: 1000g = 1kg
  • โš—๏ธ
VOLUME "Pour out 100ml of Plasma." Subtract from the total capacity.
    Remember: 1000ml = 1l

Kitchen Science:

  • "We need 500g of flour. We have 200g. How much more do we need?"
  • "This jug holds 1 litre. If I pour in 250ml, how much space is left?"
