About Recipe Remix
Welcome to the busiest cafe in the galaxy! Recipe Remix is a gamified approach to teaching distinct types of multiplication problems outlined in the Year 3 National Curriculum.
Educational Objectives
- Scaling Problems: "If one recipe serves 2 aliens, how much for 10 aliens?" Students learn to scale quantities up by integer factors.
- Correspondence Problems: "n objects are connected to m objects". E.g., If we have 3 types of bun and 2 types of patty, how many burger combinations are there?
How to Play
- Read the order ticket carefully.
- Calculate the total ingredients needed.
- Tap the correct quantity on the Prep Station interface.
- Serve the order before the aliens get "hangry"!
