Welcome to the jungle! Totem Terrace is a fast-paced stacking game that challenges students to Add Three 1-Digit Numbers.
Designed for Year 2, this game encourages players to spot "Number Bonds to 10" to make adding easier and faster.
🌴 How to Play
- Check the Target: Look at the target number at the top (e.g., 15).
- Select Heads: Tap floating totem heads with numbers (e.g., 6, 4, 5).
- Stack to Sum: As you stack them, they add up. 6 + 4 + 5 = 15. Success!
- Combo Bonus: If you stack a 6 and 4 (which make 10), you get a "10 PAIR" bonus!
📚 Curriculum Focus (Addition)
Totem Terrace directly supports the National Curriculum for Year 2:
- Adding Three Numbers Add three one-digit numbers mentally (e.g., 4 + 7 + 6).
- Number Bonds to 10 Recall and use number bonds to 10 fluently (e.g., 7 + 3, 8 + 2).
- Commutative Law Show that addition of two numbers can be done in any order (adding 6 + 4 first is easier than 4 + 7).

Spotting the 10s:
