๐ Curriculum Focus (Number & Place Value)
Word Wizard is perfectly aligned with the UK National Curriculum for KS1:
- Reading Numbers Read and write numbers from 1 to 20 in numerals and words.
- Spelling Fluency Correctly spell tricky number words like "eight", "twelve", and "twenty".
- Number Recognition Identify and represent numbers using objects and pictorial representations.
๐ง Literacy Meets Numeracy
Many children can count to 20 but struggle to read the word "Twelve".
By gamifying this translation process, Word Wizard ensures that number words become as familiar as the digits themselves, bridging the gap between English and Maths lessons.
