Rounding Rapids: Educational Guide
Game Objective
Navigate the treacherous waters by making quick mathematical decisions. A decimal number (like 4.7) will appear. The river will split into two paths—one labeled with the number rounded DOWN (4), and one rounded UP (5). Choose the correct path to stay afloat!
Year 4 Learning Goals
- Rounding Decimals: Round numbers with one decimal place to the nearest whole number.
- Decision Making: Apply the "5 or more, round up" rule under pressure.

5, 6, 7, 8, 9 -> Round UP
